Pharmacokinetics is the study of how drugs interact with the body. With no prior knowledge assumed, this five modules course will teach you the core aspects of pharmacokinetics. You will learn important definitions, the four main stages of pharmacokinetics, the renal handling of drugs and factors that affect drug excretion, the effects of developmental stage, ageing and disease on drug metabolism and excretion and you will understand types of drug-drug and drug-food interactions that affect elimination of drugs.
